These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AssetTXT asset tracking and telematics platform, operated by FireGator LLC ("AssetTXT," "FireGator," "we," "our," or "us"), including any SMS alert programs operated in connection with that service.
By enrolling in the AssetTXT service, using the platform, or receiving SMS alerts from AssetTXT, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our products or services.
AssetTXT is an automated asset tracking service that delivers real-time SMS alerts to enrolled fleet operators, transportation directors, facility managers, and designated contacts when a tracked asset crosses a geofence boundary or triggers a sensor event.

Consent to receive SMS alerts is obtained in two ways. First, through online enrollment at assettxt.app/signup, where you enter your mobile number and affirmatively check a consent box that is unchecked by default. Second, through a written service agreement signed during device installation and onboarding. In either case, you authorize AssetTXT to send automated text messages to the phone number or numbers you provide for the purpose of asset tracking and event notifications.
To opt out of all SMS communications, reply STOP to any AssetTXT message. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further alerts will be sent. To re-enroll, sign up again at the form above or contact us at the information below.
AssetTXT products and services are intended for commercial and institutional customers, including fleet operators, school districts, transit agencies, and golf course operators. You must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of your organization to enroll in any AssetTXT service.
Enrollment in AssetTXT SMS alerts requires a valid US mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS messages. AssetTXT does not currently support international SMS delivery.
You agree to use AssetTXT's services only for their intended purpose: monitoring assets equipped with AssetTXT tracking hardware. You agree not to:
AssetTXT reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms.
AssetTXT tracking hardware is sold under a separate purchase agreement. Title to hardware transfers to the customer upon full payment. FireGator provides a limited warranty against manufacturing defects as described in your purchase agreement.
Installation of AssetTXT equipment should be performed by an authorized installer. Unauthorized modifications to hardware, including changes to wiring, device configurations, or firmware, void the product warranty and may affect device performance. FireGator is not liable for damage, loss, or service disruption resulting from unauthorized modifications.
AssetTXT's tracking platform and SMS alert service are provided as supplemental operational tools. They are not a substitute for proper fleet management, physical security, or direct supervision of your assets.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASSETTXT PROVIDES ITS SERVICES "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE.
AssetTXT does not warrant that SMS alerts will be delivered without delay, that the platform will be free of errors or interruptions, or that the system will detect every event. Cellular network availability, carrier delivery windows, GPS coverage, and device connectivity may affect alert delivery.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIREGATOR LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE ASSETTXT PLATFORM, SMS ALERT SERVICE, OR ASSETTXT HARDWARE, EVEN IF FIREGATOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In no event shall FireGator's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the services exceed the total amount paid by you to FireGator in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FireGator LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the AssetTXT platform or SMS alerts; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right.
Either party may terminate the AssetTXT monitoring service with 30 days written notice. FireGator may terminate or suspend service immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to maintain payment on service fees, or if continued service creates a legal or safety risk.
Upon termination, your access to the AssetTXT platform will be deactivated and SMS alerts will cease. Hardware remains your property. Data associated with your account will be retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in South Carolina.
FireGator reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify enrolled customers of material changes via the contact information on file or through notice on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Your continued use of AssetTXT services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
